Recently, China Automotive Technology and Research Center announced the evaluation results of the second batch of children restraint products in 2015. A total of 18 products including 13 domestic brands and 5 imported brands were evaluated in this test. Among them, the safety evaluation performance of 8 products was "not recommended", and most of the other products received only "general" evaluation.

Among the 18 tested products, there are two fixing methods of ISOFIX rigid fixing and vehicle seat belts. There are 5 products for infants, 15 products for toddlers, and 15 products for school children. Judging from the results, the child restraint system products released this time have had mixed performance. Among them, some products are designed with high-level evaluation as the goal, and various aspects of the product have been improved to obtain satisfactory evaluation results. Other products have not received good evaluation, and 8 products have been evaluated as "not "Recommended", and its technical level and safety requirements need to be further improved.

The evaluation includes two parts, namely, convenience and collision safety performance test, with a maximum score of 40 points. Among them, the crash safety performance test score is 32 points, the ease of use performance evaluation score is 8 points, and the sum of the two evaluation content scores is the final score of the child restraint system product evaluation, which is the total score, and the evaluation level is determined according to the conditions.
